and then completely ignore it

my mil asked what timt to come yesterday, i told her before 7 because thats bedtime, she came at 7.15

my mums asked what time to come today and i said i wanted to go into town at 1 and she said she can only do 1.30..

why bother asking?

i am very very very tired thanks to 2 teething babies and a toddler with night terrors and i may be a bit grumpy today after max 7 hours sleep over 3 days...

I take it that your MIL did not want to meet your children, or deal with tired and grizzly children, so came when she thought they had gone to bed?

But in general, I agree with the sentiment.
