1.booking in blood test- lost completely
2.repeated along with quadruple test at antenatal clinic (2 buses, bloody ages)
3.Answer phone message there's a problem with test results (worry, worry all night until can phone next day)
4.Problem is this one wasn't labelled so was discarded, go back to antenatal and repeat tests
5.letter in post, 'your blood test results require further investigation as you may require treatment. Please attend antenatal...' (worry, worry all night)

  1. Go to antenatal, turns out letter was sent by mistake as they hadn't noticed I'd already repeated the unlabelled test
7.phonecall, it wasn't sent in error. It's because I'm RH- (I'm not!) have to re-test to sort this out now. So 1 booking in blood test, now have to go for a fifth time AND I'm worried about the results generally now and it's so arse over tits

I really wish I could have red wine.

have a 125ml glass of wine. My fertility specialist always tells me he would rather I have a glass of wine a couple of times a week than be stressed or drink caffeine.

God thats a complete mess and stressful. See if your GP can help.

I've never met my GP so don't know if helpful (rung community midwives to book in) and here you are seen by a team of midwives, never the same one. Each time it's the first time they've heard of it.

Find out the name of the midwifery matron and email her with everything they've cocked up. Be über polite, say you understand they are probably under pressure wrt staff/resources but the level of worry & inconvenience caused to you has been unacceptable. CC the chief exec & head of obstetrics. You should get a pretty quick response. We don't have PALS here but cc them if you do!
