and take away their chain link fencing, so that I have more room for my caravan? They rent off the council and I own my own home.

They are cheeky vintage. I'd be bloody livid.

YellowDinosaur · 23/08/2012 21:17

Vintage??? Dyac for cunts

Hassled · 23/08/2012 21:17

I'm gobsmacked that anyone could possibly think this is an OK thing to do. Who are these people? Long history of wankerdom?

HeadfirstOverTheHighJump · 23/08/2012 21:20

Have you spoken to the neighbours and asked them what the fuck they're playing at?

caramelwaffle · 23/08/2012 21:21

Have they put their caravan on your land? Cheeky so-and-so's.

Have they mentioned replacing your fence?

Springforward · 23/08/2012 21:22
Shock
thismumismad · 23/08/2012 21:22

nope not spoken to them too fucking scared of them, I am just going to let the authorities sort it out.

OP posts:
Trazzletoes · 23/08/2012 21:27

Blimey! I would dream of taking a chainsaw to their caravan and hacking off the bit that's on your land. Extreme reaction?!

northcountrygirl · 23/08/2012 21:27

OMG! You're neighbours are clearly deranged.

hlipop · 23/08/2012 21:31

looks awful!! hope you get it sorted!! I would go round and give them a piece of your mind!! just because you sent doesn't mean you should be treated like that! hope the council / police do something

HeadfirstOverTheHighJump · 24/08/2012 12:36

Get back onto the police and council, they tend to deal with you quicker the more "annoying" you are!

TheCalvert · 24/08/2012 12:46

Good luck getting it sorted, can't believe someone with more than half a brain cell thinks that this is acceptable behaviour. I'd chase the police for a ref number and badger the HA and council. Knobs.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 24/08/2012 12:56

The cheeky sods! I can't believe they think they can do that. You are probably right to let the authorities deal with it though, the council will have more resources (both legal and financial) than you, and I can imagine they will take a very dim view of people vandalising and trespassing on their property.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 24/08/2012 13:02

Cheeky bastards! Get the law onto them. Can you wheel clamp the caravan? And charge them to remove it?

ourmaninthenorth · 24/08/2012 14:05

The council will - very slowly, as everything takes forever - go apeshit.

Good luck!

FreeBirdsFlying · 24/08/2012 14:21

Could you go down to the council offices with pictures showing the caravan illegally parked on their land?

OddBoots · 24/08/2012 14:29

Oh goodness! How dare they! Won't the police give you a crime number over the phone?

MammaTJisanOlympicSumoWrestler · 24/08/2012 14:40

Any news?

thismumismad · 24/08/2012 15:51

I have the crime number now as I phoned them. My landlords are going to prosecute my neighbour to get the fencing replaced, as it is definitely my border that they removed. I have said to them that they need to check where the actual boundary is as if you look at the picture that shows where the chainlink was, it is not where the edge of my house is.

OP posts:
MadamFolly · 24/08/2012 15:53

Fuckers, have the fuzz been to see you yet?

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 24/08/2012 16:02

Shock the cheeky gits!

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 24/08/2012 16:03

From the photo it looks like the caravan is partially on your land, is that right?

KenLeeeeeee · 24/08/2012 16:07

I am speechless!

LemonBreeland · 24/08/2012 16:08

It really amazes me the things some people do and think they will get away with.

Jamillalliamilli · 24/08/2012 16:42

Really feel for you, it's hard living with people who do things like that because it suits them and think you have no rights, and intimidate if you object.

My lovely neighbours are currently blocking me from getting in and out of my home with a large sack of garden waste, knowing I'm too disabled to get past it, because they've just decided that's where they are now keeping it and that's that, it's done, I need to get used to it.

I have to keep getting someone to move it, every time I want to come in or out, and they put it back behind me, each time.

This stuff isn't even personal, it's just convenient for them, and you don't count.
