Hi,

Can I put dirty pram wheels (bugaboo chameleon) in the dishwasher?

Love that Scarlett tbh that sounds more reasonable than putting the wheels in!

crackcrackcrak · 25/08/2012 09:57

Yanbu id do it

McHappyPants2012 · 25/08/2012 11:18

But people clean alloys on cars I really don't see the difference.

ilovesprouts · 25/08/2012 11:22

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwh .

OnlyNiceSwearing · 25/08/2012 11:58

Apparently you can sterilise toothbrushes in the d/w on top shelf. I am a slattern have NEVER cleaned pram wheels except in a puddle.

roses2 · 28/08/2012 18:00

So what's the conclusion, is it ok to put foam pram wheels in the dishwasher without them becoming destroyed?

Floggingmolly · 28/08/2012 18:05

Why would you want to, Roses?

BornToShopForcedToWork · 28/08/2012 19:54

Roses:

Yes you can put wheels in the dishwasher.

As long as I don't have to eat off your plates or drink out of your mugs, you can do what you want boke Envy

BarbaraofSeville · 26/10/2019 21:54

The best thing about our dishwasher is that you can take the top basket out, attach an extra spray arm at the back and wash Big Things, such as the kitchen bins, cat litter trays and oven door glass.

Not Sorry.

On Singletrackworld, which is probably the male version of Mumsnet, as in it's supposed to be about bikes, but the chat forum is far more active, they often discuss whether or not they could get away with putting bike parts in there.

My reasoning is that if a raw chicken coated chopping board comes out clean and safe, so does everything else.

Shock, personally only dishes go in ours . My rollator wheels get hosed .
The shower is quite good you can use a long handled back brush .
