they were in their garden screeching and lauging and basically drunk jumping on trampoline ! They were so loud baby was flinching everytime one of them screeched with delight at every jump! I know 1 am not really late but DP is up at 5am for work and wen I shud have been sleeping between baby's feeds I couldn't as they were making so much noise!

1am is too late to be arsing around noisily and bothering the neighbours, especially on a week day. Are you going to talk to them about being selfish?

OnlyWantsOne · 22/08/2012 09:26

YANBU

But did you scream ask them to quiet down? Do they know you have a tiny baby?

Cheekychops84 · 22/08/2012 09:30

They know! They brought me cards! But I have a slight problem with one as our kids dnt get on so think she is doing it for a reaction which I refused to give!

If it was a one off, yabu.

WorraLiberty · 22/08/2012 09:33

It's a bit of a lavish thing to do just because your kids don't get on Confused

It's probably far more likely that the alcohol affected their judgement on how loud they were really being.

Could you not have opened the window and called out asking them politely to keep it down?

dubbada · 22/08/2012 09:34

put a radio on in baby room low volume either easy music or white noise very quickly littleone will sleep through them and your right if they are doing it for a reaction then dont give it to them

LadyBeagleEyes · 22/08/2012 09:34

I can see how one night is a problem, if it was happening all the time, yes complain but otherwise I'd leave it.

Cheekychops84 · 22/08/2012 09:46

It does happen quite often yes but last night was really exceptionally loud the houses are so close together I could hear their whole conversation. It may not b because of a problem
Between us but v annoying :(

I don't even let DS out at 10pm or before 10am in the garden because his noises might wake neighbours.

YANBU if frequent say something if not just hope it doesn't happen again (it'll be winter soon I guess)

Or you could just do what I do and hide inside and not say anything because I'm a wimp Grin

Cheekychops84 · 22/08/2012 09:54

Lol yea that's me lol I'm a wimp really ! It sposed to rain Friday woo hoo! I will get them back wen baby is older I have v large speakers!

Phone your non emergency police number as it's anti social behaviour etc

I did similar when my neighbors who usually drink/have music on until 12.30-1am (they did generally turn it down a bit after 12) decided to sing Kumbay-fucking-a over and over again at 3am... Angry
