Spiders - only come in the house because the house is dirty????

My kind dp informs me my house is the only house in the UK where spiders come in. He has never seen it before so, er the house must be dirty!

Nice, eh? Anyway - all I know is they seem to start coming in around August and stop around end of October. I think that if you up the hoovering it reduces how many come in (from experience) but surely they don't all just head for dirty houses?

You can, bogey - but frying them smells bad (like burning hair, which it kind of is - chitin is much the same structure as keratin)

Yep, burning hair! But worth it to see the critters fry :o

I'm not fond of spiders, but your DP sounds even more unpleasant. I can't believe he tries to make you feel small just because he's in a bad mood.

Last night's offering was the size of a saucer, we were thinking of putting a leash on it and taking it for a walk.

OH caught it in a glass and cardboard but it's legs were wider than the perimeter of the glass. We all had to have a look before it was released into the park across the road.

Its Momma may be along soon. We put her out a few months back.

I shall put Boris on spider watch then for the big one. Last nights was having a rest outside the bathroom door.

Tell the silly sod you're preparing for Halloween early this year! My DP is terrified of them so if there are a couple indoors and he's annoyed me they stay there 3)
