about being annoyed at Kofi Annan already sold out?

Chelt Lit Festival. Got the booklet through the door yesterday. Saw that Kofi Annan was going to be speaking on the 5th October. Members only online at the moment so can't book til Monday online when the public can book and at the box office Wednesday. Thought i would just have a look on line and it is already sold out.

Feel really annoyed that obviously members - who ok, have first dibs - have all bought tickets but the 'public' don't stand a chance. J K Rowling also already sold out.

Saw Tony Benn last year and there is not anyone else that i REALLY want to see. Too much of a whinge?

not really , i q"d all night ,years and years ago (in a Glasgow st )wiv what seemed like the entire 20yoa population of Glasgow to cop band tickets , and yes !, doors open 10am get VERY near front of q by 3pm and told "soz ,all tickets sold !" bugger ! also done same at diff. gig venue , doors open and guess what ? i was in WRONG BLOODY Q !(SOBBED AND RETURNED HOME TO PLAY MY T.REX ALBUMS !) yeah ,i"m that old (t.rex , very famous glam rock 70"s star )

mizu I should add, that I don't think you're being unreasonable to be annoyed about that.
I know that feeling, been there done that and it was a serious suggestion, didn't want to come across as rude , to consider becoming a member yourself.
