Typical, left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.
As a wheelchair user, my dd will of course, not get a degree, a job, or have a family.
Idiots.
Thanks for flagging this carer.

And its not the only case.

So an event that's meant to prove that disabled people can achieve anything and everything yet a disabled person trying to attend is restricted from even sitting with her children Confused

Whole thing is ridiculous I hope she is successful in rectifying an unacceptable situation. How dare it be made so difficult for someone to sit with their children she's their mother :(

I've never been anywhere (cinema, theatre etc) that doesn't think wheelchair users should all be put together. It must make outings very difficult, being segregated from your group.

Although if I were an architect, it must be a monumental problem trying to accommodate everyone, you wouldnt know if they were going to book in groups of 2,3,4,10, 20

Note the disgusting patronizing comment under one of the articles about "pandering to the disabled"

It happens a lot sadly. Sad
We as a family cannot book together if we want to take dd2 SN buggy (classed as wheelchair due to size). We often opt for normal seats and deal with that rather than deal with the hassle of 1 carer only Angry

Ive put it on the News board as well.

Crazy, it was some years back now but I remember booking tickets for a well-attended ballet and they made sure my block-booking included a wheelchair space with no problems at all. Surely they respected this and made provision for it?
