We go on holiday in 5 days time. Between then, I have a child's party to organise, 2 children to look after, work some evenings, buy holiday things, make and ice a cake, buy a few bits and bobs for myself (or I'm swimming au naturel), take kids to dentist, answer 101 emails etc.
My brain is about to explode and I have very few childfree hours before we leave. I am resenting that the holiday planning/packing etc is all down to me. My DH has paid for it but it's me who has booked holiday, flights, car hire, insurance, car parking etc and is wondering when I am going to get around to actually doing the pre-holiday shopping/packing.
DH has offered to help but when we went through the 18 point to do list we realised he was unable/unwilling to wrap up the pass the parcel, make a cake, do the pre-holiday shop etc.
Tell me I'm just being a sour old goat please so I can get over myself!
