Your right about George Michael he looked sad and alone on that stage and as if he only sang Freedom if they let him sang his latest rubbish as a chance to sell a few records. He'd have been better of with faith.

My 9yr old was well impressed with The Who

Oh and best bit was the fat lady sining with Eric. I bet that joke fell flat on most of the world. I had to explain to my spanish friends as we were watching why I was laughing.

It took a while but I got the fat lady in the end!

I REALLY enjoyed it. It was a party! It was much more entertaining than the opening ceremony. It made me laugh, and cry, and sing, and I was impressed. and believe me, I was NOT keen on the Olympics, before it started!

Well I suppose Gary had to be there as he would not have let Robbie take the stage instead of him and the rest of Take that can't sing.

Apart from the 80's has-beens it was good. The Who were a masterstroke.
