To think, after all this years of trying, I may well be pregnant?

So I just went to the toilet.

And - TMI! - there were a few drops of brownish mucusy blood when I wiped.

It's far too early to be my period. I had a scan saying that I would ovulate at last weekend weekend, another one on Wednesday that showed the shrink, and the corpus luteum collapse on Friday.

Could this be implantation bleeding, at about 7dpo, or AIBU Wink

Pob I had exactly what you are describing, I cried (in John Lewis toilets) because we'd been trying over 4 years and I just thought it was my period come early or something.

It wasn't my period, it was DD. She stuck around and is currently playing with her toys waiting for me to get out of bed an do breakfast. Looking back, it must have been an implantation bleed.

Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

Pobbage · 14/08/2012 07:25

Louise I have also been trying for that long. How long did your implantation bleed last? So glad to hear your success story :)

I had this too Pobbage good luck have everything crossed for you. X

CheeryCherry · 14/08/2012 07:34

Fingers crossed for you!

LouiseMBE · 14/08/2012 07:35

It was on an off for about 3 days, by the time I was able to poas my nerves were shot to hell!

We'd be trying for a long time (though I know I'm lucky, others ttc longer) and had sort of stopped believing it was possible to ever happen, was in a low place with it really.

Weirdly, my second only took one night to conceive - go figure!

Hope you get your BFP

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 14/08/2012 07:47

I was starving hungry from about the stage you're now, possibly, at. Couldn't get enough carbohydrates! Good luck :)

ShoeJunkie · 14/08/2012 07:48

Another set of fingers firmly crossed for you.

foolserrand · 14/08/2012 07:52

Fingers crossed for you here!

Pobbage · 14/08/2012 07:52

When did you all poas and get your bfps? How many dpo?

OP posts:
bubbles12 · 14/08/2012 07:52

Fingers crossed for you. I had a similar bleed for dd2 which lasted 4 or 5 days on and off I think.

bubbles12 · 14/08/2012 07:54

I got a bfp about 3 days before period was due, couldnt wait any longer!

chipsandmushypeas · 14/08/2012 07:54

10dpo for me, good luck!

Littlemissimpatient · 14/08/2012 07:59

Good luck op! Fingers crossed for you

cutegorilla · 14/08/2012 08:13

With my first 2 I waited until 18dpo because I couldn't bring myself to do it sooner. With my 3rd something made me test at 10dpo, I think I just felt so like I had with #2 that I couldn't wait. It took over 1yr for the first, 2.5yrs for the second and over 3yrs for the third. My fingers are very firmly crossed for you OP.

MarathonRunnersPukeCatcher · 14/08/2012 08:30

I had it too. Had been taking Clomid and thought it was my period come early until I realised a few days later that it never changed from the browny mucus. I tested at 12 doo at about 10pm that night and got a faint positive. The brown bleeding continued and I was given progesterone and my baby is here hiccuping at me now. Good luck!

Northey · 14/08/2012 08:39

14dpo for me. I had practically given up testing at all, as had spent such a long time wasting money on sticks. But the brown gloop at a time when it coul be implantation persuaded me to give it a go.

Northey · 14/08/2012 08:40

It was FMU, btw, and faint but clear.

Moominsarescary · 14/08/2012 08:45

I had implantation bleeding this time at 7 dpo, this is my 8 th pg and I've never had it before. I'm 13+ 6 now, so fx for you x

Pobbage · 14/08/2012 08:46

Marathon do you think I need progesterone, is that what causes the spotting do you think?

I'm so worried. Trying not to be, but I am.

FreeBirdsFlying · 14/08/2012 08:52

Best of luck for your bfp.

chipsandmushypeas · 14/08/2012 08:56

My luteal phase was too short at 9 days and I'm sure it's what was preventing me from getting pregnant. I took vit b6 complex 50 and it increased my lp by 2 days and I fell pregnant

JodieHarsh · 14/08/2012 09:00

Pobbage I'm swinging by to say a total stranger is sitting in her office pleading with the Gods that you are utterly up the spout

I have had a great deal of inter-menstrual (no idea if that's a word!) spotting and never been pregnant - but equally, there is nothing wrong with my hormones (been tested twice!). So I know that sounds like I'm raining on your parade, please don't fret that spotting between periods is necessarily indicating that something is wrong.

ANYWAY I am now going to click refresh for the rest of the day hoping you come back and tell us you feel horribly sick and want to die Wink

GOOD LUCK

Lilicat1013 · 14/08/2012 09:02

Pixieonthemoor · 14/08/2012 09:03
