to be annoyed and think my friend has ruined everything?

I've been friends with a couple for many years and was able to maintain a great friendship with both of them when the split a couple of years back, going drinking with the woman and for meals with the man or even back the the flat after work for a drink and a chat with both of them (they still live together).

There's never been any flirting between the man and myself and I've always made sure he knows I'm not interested in words and actions. So Aibu to be annoyed that when I said goodnight to him tonight and went to give him the usual peck on the cheek and hug he tried to hold me their and kiss me? Stupid man Angry

YANBU if you'd already made it clear you're not interested.

How did the situation where you told him how you felt play out?

Little things like if he talked about being interested in someone I'd say good on him, glad I'm not in he's shoes as I love being single and would run a mile from any offers. Or if asked when I'm going to start dating repeated the above. This was both alone and in front of he's ex and conversations I've had as long as I've known them so no change in which he could think maybe I've changed my mind iyswim

was he drunk? I think Id try to make a joke of it or if you think he was really serious then say to him that there is no chance, so dont try to ruin a good frindship you arse
