Ok I have had a fall out with neighbours?,tried to be nice, talked to them but only met with abusive now.

Reported to police,no comfort there have been told you need proof,ok its hard as its not just one its two neighbours and I feel intimated as they have said things about me but no proof .

Its quiet now as we have all been warned, they say one thing we say another.

I have now ignored them, probably the best way forward ,but now if I go to my car I have to take mobile incase they start, they are trying to catch us out you see .

I have been told by police if we say anthing we will be arrested for breach of the peace,I just want to move am so unhappy.

Thanks for listening,we have been so happy up to now and I feel bad for my dc's as I feel I cant relax anymore,im ok when we are inside but dont want them in the garden.

I had serious problems with neighbours a few years ago. So much so that i wanted to leave my home and go and live with my sister at the other end of the country, just to get away from it. We went to mediation, even though I thought it would be pointless because they were just so totally unreasonable (and bonkers and antisocial). Much to my surprise and pleasure, it did actually work and peace was restored.

I'm always recommending this site but really it's so helpful!

I'm surprised at the response from the police. If you feel that they are harassing you please don't be put off reporting it to them, the police can act on harassment and anti social behaviour, though for the latter you would probably need to involve your local council as well. They're not wrong in advising you not to react. If you do you leave yourself open to allegations from them.

The site I've suggested above has moderator's who are trained in this sort of business and will be able to advise who at the council to contact etc.

Think your neighbours are bad? My arseholes neighbours next door have gone on holiday having parked their car outside our house with a mini cctv camera pointing from the car to our house. They must think they'll miss something while they're away. Morons.
