To think that telling me what number I am in the phone "queue" is rubbing salt in the wound?

I'd rather be in blissful ignorance thanks.

And turn that Mozart off!!

And why is it that you tell me I am third in the queue - then the next time you come on to tell me what number I am I'm still third! Angry

Just don't tell me!! - I can handle it.

Oh, and don't "thank" me for holding - I'm not doing it as a favour to you!! I need to speak to someone

And they're lying as the numbers are actually halved to make you hang on longer

Nancy66 · 08/08/2012 14:55

...yeah but what about the thrill you get when you hear that you are NEXT in the queue? What a buzz......

......and then they cut you off.

WaveringButterfly · 08/08/2012 14:55

And the person first in the queue is their mum, and she's gonna be on for a while...

Mrsjay · 08/08/2012 14:55

so you are third only 3 hours wait left Grin drives me mad and when they do answer it is thank you for your patience by then you cant be arsed with passing the time of day with call centre staff TBH i think being put on hold is what causes a lot of the Angry at call centre staff,

Salmotrutta · 08/08/2012 15:02

Oh I'm never rude or horrible (pious face) but it gets on my wick when they keep telling me what number I am.

Grin at the first person being their mum!

And why is it always the same piece of Mozart?!
