More of a Would I be unreasonable but anyway...
I love the Olympics, really I do, but does the tv have to be on all bloody day so that DH doesn't have to interact with DS and makes a piss poor job of giving him his tea. AIBU in wanting to swear lots at him and tell him to bloody do something?

And to make it worse, I've just burnt the fucking tea, due to not putting olive oil on breadcrumbs, due to having to feed my DS instead of my inept DH. Rahhhhh AngryAngryAngry

It's two weeks out of a lifetime. The Olympics is unlikely to be back to the UK while most MNers are alive. Leave him be.

I have had it on all day every day but have managed to still get things done properly so in that sense yanbu

LookBehindYou · 07/08/2012 18:12

Yes, yabu. Chuck a pizza at the ds and watch us get medals! Save all of this up and have one mega shout and cursing fit when it finishes.

startwig1982 · 07/08/2012 18:15

I have been watching it avidly most of the time just pissed off this evening that DH isn't being helpful. I wouldn't really swear it him as it's frowned upon!

It's not really the tv is it.
I have managed to cook and iron and clean and wash stuff whilst watching much of the action.

And mumsnet too

I am pretty bloody talented when I think about it

startwig1982 · 07/08/2012 18:21

I think it's the fact he can't multitask and so just sits. Have rescued tea and feel a bit calmer after my rant! Blush
