Women's matches were much better. Dd2 has been ranting about the pay difference not being fair.

I've been pondering why the GB football team/s don't get much in the way of results, despite there being so much money in the sport and its getting so much publicity.

I think it must be something to do with the money still coming, regardless of results. And being a team sport, so its hard to de-select based on failure, as in other sports.
