To want to wake with the same person I went to bed with

As usual my 5 year ol twins have migrated to our bed overnight! Woke up at 06.00 to my DS moaning I haven't got any space, DD spreadeagled like a starfish and DH clinging on to edge of bed but still managing to be totally out for the count!

Do you not get up, leave DH to it, and creep into the empty bed?

Worked for me Grin

Awww. I'd love my kids to still do that. You'll miss it when they stop!

ripsishere · 04/08/2012 07:17

YANBU. You could always go and get into one of their beds though.

Ghanagirl · 04/08/2012 07:28

They still have junior beds, so although I'm small still bloody uncomfortable, have done that before though!
Jeezypeeps, where do you live i'll pop them in a cab Smile

Yes. It happens every night/morning. Dh is too lazy to go and put our dd back into her bed, so she ends up staying on the edge of the bed with dh clinging on to her incase she falls.

JeezyPeeps · 04/08/2012 07:34

Hmmm, you'd probably need an aeroplane - but go for it!

ImperialBlether · 04/08/2012 08:56

How big are their rooms and how big is your budget? I'd be buying them a double bed apiece and telling them to get in together if they want company.

I woke up with a baby pulling my back hair this morning. I turned over and got the biggest grin. I didn't mind the bald patch so much after that Grin

YABU - I love it when DS (7 and LEGGY) does this. Every morning Grin

I like the idea of getting them double beds though :)

StellaAndFries · 04/08/2012 09:10

My dd's do this so whoever notices first gets to go and get some peace in their bunk beds.

NagooingForGold · 04/08/2012 09:11

There's no way I could put up with that.

I know I am a miserable sod but I need my space to sleep.

I'd be on the sofa I reckon.

MammaTJ · 04/08/2012 09:14

I woke up to my DS age 5 sprawled across the bed, his head against my ribs. My DD age 6 lying in the bed too, using her brother as a pillow. My DP was downstairs on the sofa.
