Between the hours of 5.15 and 5.50 this morning we have haas no fewer than FOUR poos. One negligible, three sizeable. He has also free-weed on two babygro/vest outfits whilst i've been dealing with the poomageddons.

Aibu to try and prevent more such carnage or should I just take him back to the shop for a full refund?

Obviously that title should read 'jam' and 'up'. Stupid bloody phone isn't that smart.

Aw, that sounds rubbish. I like poomageddon, though. As a word, not as an event, obviously.

BenjiAndTheTigers · 02/08/2012 06:25

Take him back and ask for a refund. They won't give you a full refund because he is slightly soiled.

Second choice is to give him a nice bath, wrap all the clothing up in a bin bag and bin it.

SkiBumMum · 02/08/2012 06:25

Hate to say it but If he has the bug they all seem to have around here (beige foamy poo and a bit of watery, v smelly, off food but v little sick) he might do this for a few more days yet Sad DD2 is finally better after over a week. Hope he feels better soon

BenjiAndTheTigers · 02/08/2012 06:28

Hope he doesn't get too bad. Make sure you thoroughly wash your hands between each change.

I know this is basic hygiene but sometimes we forget when it's happening every 10 minutes.

CheerMum · 02/08/2012 06:52

I advise owning a good bottle of wine, use the cork on Poomania and the wine on yourself

Alternatively, I second the thought of a quick bath for baby, then fingers crossed it is all out of his system ( and defo throw away rather than wash anything pooey ). Hope you both get se rest now xx

MrsHoarder · 02/08/2012 07:08

Do you really want to take him back to the shop. He's presumably a bit bigger than when he left it now.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 02/08/2012 07:42

No loss of appetite here. I'm tempted to blame teething, but not really any other symptoms. Oh, and we just had poo number five...

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 02/08/2012 07:44

That's true Mrs Hoarder, i've put 6 months of work in to get him to this size, surely I could make a profit...?

And luckily he only peed on the clothes. Say what you will about cloth nappies, but they're excellent at containment

Poor you! We had a couple of weeks of pooing about 10 times a day for no apparent reason. It stopped as quickly as it had started so hang on in there.

auntevil · 02/08/2012 07:53

With a DS of 7 and one of 5 that still regularly do this (dietary issues) - I say get used to it - particularly drinking the wine before contemplating using the cork Grin
Seriously though, I sympathise.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 02/08/2012 08:10

Poo number six...

It will pass. It will pass. Repeat after me...this too shall pass.

StealthPolarBear · 02/08/2012 08:27

Oh no :o
And I don't think that's what MrsH meant- the "shop" is a euphemism for...

StealthPolarBear · 02/08/2012 08:29

If these are normal poos rather than unwell poos then I've been there! We used to call DD Little Miss Admiral Multi-Poo as she used to poo all day long on occasions, including a memorable ocassion when she was a bridesmaid (frilly knickers, petticoats, neat hair) and she pooed 5 times during the wedding, once during the ceremony itself. Each time I had to traipse off to our car which was about a 10 min walk and change her on the passenger seat - the last couple of times it was dark...

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 02/08/2012 08:59

Spb - he came out of the sun roof, so I guess it didn't worry me the way it should have!

And yes, I guess they're normal poos for a bf baby just starting to wean. I found the bits of red pepper skin slightly concerning until I realised what they were, ditto aubergine...

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 02/08/2012 09:03

ouch - even worse plan to take him back then :o

Kayano · 02/08/2012 09:04

POONAMI...

MrsHoarder · 02/08/2012 09:34

Surely any profit would be fat on you - I wouldn't be after that!

PerryCombover · 02/08/2012 09:38

Refund yanbu
