On websites such as preloved.. People who go on and edit the title to include SOLD

Why not just delete the advert and save me from trawling through adverts for items that are no longer available?

YANBU, but be annoyed with the website, because some of them, if you paid for a certain amount of time, won't let you remove the ad!

Better that than the wankers on Etsy who don't even do that but let you pay for something then email you a week later to say they've sold it on eBay.

I see this all the time it is bloody annoying.

But even worse when someone doesn't remove thier ad at all and you end up enquiring about something thats already gone only to see the same ad still up weeks/months later.
I often wonder, do they not get pissed off with people contacting them??

I hate normal websites where you find the perfect item only to find that its out of stock. Why have it available for selection then?

omfgkillmenow · 02/08/2012 01:13

Also job ads...if the jobs gone delete the ad!!!!

I found it very useful that some one had put sold on an ad recently, Gumtree.
It was a van that I was interested in, the original owner sold it, put that in ad, person that bought it then relisted it at several hundred pounds more

"Make me an offer" I now know that is code for "I have listed it on ebay as well and want to see if your stupid enough to pay over the odds."
