Google Chrome spellchecks. Smile

ViviPru · 01/08/2012 16:47

Don't you get red lines under misspelt words, Love? I do on Safari....

WithoutCaution · 01/08/2012 16:48

If I spell a word wrong as I type a red line shows up underneath the word.

Lovemy3kids · 01/08/2012 16:48

Not when I am typing comments on MN Vivi, I am accessing this through the computer at work at the mo (ssshhhh!), but even when I am on it at home, it still doesn't come up with a red line :(

I'm using Firefox and I get the red lines.

ViviPru · 01/08/2012 16:56

I'd be lost without my red lines. Most of my posts are poorly speed-typed gobbledygook till I go back through with my right-click.

Tee2072 · 01/08/2012 17:01

Every major browser has a built in spell checker these days...

HeadfirstForRomance · 01/08/2012 17:02

I get the wiggly red lines too.

AmberLeaf · 01/08/2012 17:04

I used to get a red line when I got a spelling wrong but now I don't.

Always been on firefox.

GoTeamkozy · 01/08/2012 17:15

I have a spellchecker on Firefox. I turned it off but it still highlights English spellings as wrong. Which is annoying.

Ithinkitsjustme · 01/08/2012 17:18

It would spoil the fun of the nit picking spell checkers on here

usualsuspect · 01/08/2012 17:18

Don't most browsers have a spell checker add on ?

molepom · 01/08/2012 17:19

There's a spell checker on FF?

Where?

usualsuspect · 01/08/2012 17:20

You have to add it, google ff add ons or its ^^ up there in tools.

molepom · 01/08/2012 17:30

Just checking thsi nwo....

molepom · 01/08/2012 17:32

didnt work

Tee2072 · 01/08/2012 17:53

You have to use add-ons to get a spell checker on Firefox.

It's built into Chrome automatically.

AmberLeaf · 01/08/2012 18:00

Yeah I hated it when it highlighted my correct english spellings with americanisms!
