ok fourteen years ago she deserved the pasting she got (or rather, she deserved HALF of the pasting). Grant Bogey came out of it all as some hapless knob but the vitriol was directed at Anthea. I'm no fan of hers but I think if she'd MURDERED somebody she'd only have been hung drawn and quartered once. I'm not a second wife before anybody asks me if I am! I just hate to see that we're still in this place where the woman gets ALL the blame, twice. One man, a double dickhead.

How can people still hold it against her (or him) when they have been together for 14 years. It wasn't just some casual affair. Sometimes people fall in love with other people, sometime marriages work and sometimes they don't. Not really anyone else's business apart from those involved. People are human beings not saints - if they murdered someone or committed some heinous crime then fine but fgs it was an affair 14 years ago. Worse things go on in the world.

And have you read Bupcake's thread? I would estimate about 25% of the posts are actually about Anthea - it's actually a bitch fest about a lot of slebs. And the ones about Anthea are slagging, mostly, her telly career and perkiness.

I agree actually. Whilst I think the ex Mrs Bovey must be feeling a certain degree of smugness right now (and rightly so) I still feel sorry for the 'new' one. She has been betrayed. Whatever she did in the past (and it was a long time ago) is not the issue here - the issue is that this particular leopard didnt change his spots, and he is the tw*t. Those poor children. I have no idea what their relationship with their step mum is like - it would appear that they have a good one but then the DM isnt always a fount of truth - and the idiot has gone and turned their lives upside down AGAIN.
