I'm new here so wondered what are the top tips and advice for newcomers posting on this board? For instance, is it best to tread with caution (find your posting feet slowly) or leap straight in?!

Ummm there are some topics to stay away from, basically that are too sensitive or would spark a mahoosiv bunfight e.g. stuff surrounding benefits and scrounging, bf. If you are replying and it is on a sensitive topic, try to be as diplomatic and sensitive as you can and not to go in hammer and tongs. Yes doo nt be rude, and take all answers into consideration, and be prepared to admit that you are being U. Thats all

Oh ho! Your first thread was on abortion?! And was deleted?! You've met your match with these ladies ltc1 and OMG, you used your old line of 'why don't they double on contraception?'.

And what do you mean, you've thought about it before and think it should be discussed? You posted the same self-righteous crap on the other forum for three years, so please don't play the innocent - you're anything but.

Some said about not using anonymity to be a twat - that's good advice. Take it.
