To be embarrassed by two teenage girls snogging today

I was at a children's theme park in a queue for a ride and a little way in front of me were two teenage girls who were all over each other. I felt really uncomfortable. I think I would have felt uncomfortable if it had been a boy and a girl when there were so many young children about, but WIBU?

I don't think 'reason' comes into it really.

YANBU particularly unreasonable to think that two people snogging in the queue for a children's ride isn't the best idea. However (and you probably know this) YABU if you think its worse for it being two girls.

I doubt young children would care to be honest. But I can't help but yell "get a room" at public snogging.

Im not a fan of people being all over each other in public - the sex and age of the people is irrelevant to me.

Not specifically girls but public snogging. Teenagers ate very self absorbed beings tbh and probably wouldn't even register it may offend people.

YANBU to feel how you do, that's your right but I think it is U if you felt this way more so as it was 2 girls.

I don't think children care too much either. But it's was inconsiderate.

I hate it , I never know where to look I don't like public displays of affection if it's more than a peck on the cheek but teens will be teens and when they get older they'll probably cringe at the public chewing each others face off too

No one should ever snog in public.

I hate public snogging, but would probably have done it at that age. It's a bravado thing. Oddly, I don't think I see as much of it now as I used to years ago, so I'd probably shudder even more now as I don't see it so often.

Public snogging makes me feel uncomfortable too even though I know I was as bad as a teen. Dp will sometimes get a peck on the lips and a quick hug but that's it in public.

I really hate prolonged bum groping in public too.

I see it mostly in museums on Sunday mornings.

It's just ewwww.

Next it will be boob feeling and nob rubbing too. The shagging. Just STOP!!!

When you say snogging, do you mean kissing and hugging or serious groping of breasts and genitals?
I'd be irritated at the latter, from a couple of any gender.

I will barely let dh put his arm around me for a second in public. He jokes that one day people will find out that we're an item . But in my teens I was ridiculous, and half of it was playing to the gallery.

YANBU,I was on the train going to work this week,rush hour and two girls sat next to me and the stop before I got off they really started going for it,groping,moaning etc!and yes it was very uncomfortable.
I would feel the same if it was a guy and a girl but tbh this felt very much like it was a deliberate show to MAKE people uncomfortable IYSWIM?

devora I have no idea if they were going to work or not,but at 7am on the tube I would assume most people are!
I'm not sure who would actually feel comfortable with sitting or standing close to a couple being so intimate with each other.
