Just looking at the 'my love' thread, to which I did actually contribute myself...

It's 276 posts long and the OP only posted twice altogether, from what I can see. Lots of people clearly not taking it that seriously, but still posting (some very funny) replies.

So aibu to think that sometimes people love being wound up, in the same way that they will read the Daily Mail online or watch a politician on TV even though they KNOW it will piss them off. There's something quite satisfying about it, I guess. Maybe the opportunity to vent spleen on someone representative of a horrible point of view?

(obviously I'm not talking about emotional vampire trolls or those who write truly horrible things)
