BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 19/07/2012 10:18

What a pain. Do you know how long you have to wait? Is it worth getting a bus/train to somewhere nice?

dreamingbohemian · 19/07/2012 10:19

I'm sorry, did you just say a museum of mechanical pianos?

DaisySteiner · 19/07/2012 10:19

Sounds like a nightmare. But at least the booze is cheap! Just get pissed and eat copious quantities of bread and smelly cheese until the part turns up.

Hullygully · 19/07/2012 10:20

You are driving to Greece? With a dog? Oh you are brave.

What part is it?

Hullygully · 19/07/2012 10:22

Hate cheese

Yes mechanical pianos. Other exhibition is tunnel construction

ExitPursuedByABear · 19/07/2012 10:25

I meant the broken car part Grin

TheVermiciousKnid · 19/07/2012 10:25

I was wondering where you were, hadn't seen you around for a while. Look on the bright side: besides the cheap wine, nice cheese etc, you could learn all there is to learn about mechanical pianos. It could be your specialist subject on mastermind, or something. Or slag heaps?

I hope you get the car sorted soon...

TheVermiciousKnid · 19/07/2012 10:25

Well, learning about tunnel construction could also be useful, just in case you ever need to tunnel your way out of (or into) something.

Hullygully · 19/07/2012 10:27

Stupid radiator cap exploded while we on top of a mountain

OP posts:
Hullygully · 19/07/2012 10:27

Cheese is NOT a comfort

OP posts:
TheVermiciousKnid · 19/07/2012 10:28

It could be worse. Our brakes once failed on top of a mountain in Norway.

CestTout · 19/07/2012 10:29

Oh poor you :( We once spent three days waiting for a car part in France, in the end my Mum, Nana, sister and I headed home via bus/train etc while the men waited for the car to be fixed. Stayed in a hotel with bunkbeds and it was not exactly clean... Eurgh.

Hope the part turns up today...

ExitPursuedByABear · 19/07/2012 10:31

Oh Hully - of all the people to be stuck in a France, a cheese hater!

TuftyFinch · 19/07/2012 10:34

Oh poor Hully. Could you teach the dog French to pass the time?

ChickensHaveNoLips · 19/07/2012 10:37

The museum sounds fascinating. You should visit it often and take many, many photos. Perhaps blog about it.

TheOneWithTheHair · 19/07/2012 10:40

Poor you. Have they told you how long it will take to fix once it arrives?

AngryFeet · 19/07/2012 10:40

What kind of person hates cheese?
