Call the police now on the non-emergency number and then ring the environmental health dept at your local council first thing. This isn't on. Poor you.

What an inconsiderate selfish bitch (your neighbour OP not you)

Last time i rang police next door neighbour slashed her own car tyres and said it was me! the woman is like cruella de vill on speed!

In which case definitely let someone else deal with it. Ring the police!

Is her house rented or owned? Is there no way you can complain to a landlord about her. She sounds like a nightmare :(

janelikesjam · 19/07/2012 09:36

Write it down. Sounds like horrible nightmare. Find authorities to complain to about it. 3 parties in a week is entirely unreasonable and I am sure you will find sympathetic parties. Sad for you, I hope things improve.

Police, especially as there is history.

Your council may have a noise squad that can go out and tell them to turn the music down (applies to all properties not just council), check on their website.

Keep a diary - short, factual, times, dates. Build a case either for local authority or her landlord. EnviroHealth will ask you for it. They can issue something called an abatement notice, you could ask for mediation. This may be better, or at least a starting point.

Perhaps you and the neighbours could start a noisy morning activity...

I know how awful that is - my upstairs neighbours are the same, sometimes their parties go on until 8am. I prefer the passive aggressive approach - wait until the party finishes and they go to bed, then start mowing the lawn, playing power ballads at loud volume, slamming front door etc. Not big or clever, but makes me feel better! called landlord this morning and he is coming out today as he has had other complaints about her. I got 1 1/2 hrs sleep and am so tired. Cannot go to bed as its ds sports day!
