I can't understand it! I have nothing against gay people I have friends who are gay, but GM was arrested for what he got up to in that toilet. Also he has been done at least twice for being on drugs whilst in charge of a car!!! He is hardly a great example!!! People still think he is great. I dont understand it!!!

I wish he hadn't driven while on drugs and I hope he's learned his lesson on that front. Nothing else he's done bothers me at all. Plus he is incredibly talented - great songwriter, great voice.

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:09

oh Georgie.......essentially likeable

Kennyp · 18/07/2012 23:09

The putney one?? Cooooo errrrrr that used to be my local but no celebrity or non celebrity ever gave me a hug when i was there sobs bitterly whilst listening to praying for time, the bestest song ever

TheNightWatch · 18/07/2012 23:11

Anyone else going or, is it just me?

cocolepew · 18/07/2012 23:12

I was thinking about the fan hiding in his house the other day for some reason. You'd shit yourself when you discovered them. How bizarre.

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:12

how could we have watched this and thought he was straight?

aquashiv · 18/07/2012 23:13

Wham Rap bloody shit but great too if you were 14.

He is rather pretentious now love him.
Andrew had the right idea fucking off to Cornwall to look at seagulls.

cocolepew · 18/07/2012 23:13

I dont like him enough to want to go and see him but I love the song he does where he sings You Can't Always Get What You Want at the end.

Devora · 18/07/2012 23:13

Still don't understand what him being gay has to do with it. I'm not over-impressed by people who drive while under the influence myself, and sex in toilets is a bit eww for me, but last time I looked heterosexuals were getting up to both.

LynetteScavo · 18/07/2012 23:16

And I don't think he pressed charges, coco.

Because we were going to marry him, klaritaf.

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:16

TheUnsinkableTitanic · 18/07/2012 23:17

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:17

Grin lynette

RubyFakeNails · 18/07/2012 23:20

I have met Georgie for certain! We used to go to his dads restaurant in Edgware. He was so so lovely.

Also who cares if he's had sex in a toilet, so what I have, lots of people do, otherwise there wouldn't be police etc hanging about in them waiting to catch you.

The drugs thing isn't great but he makes music and people buy it, and buy his tickets, thats his job. He didn't sign up to be a role model or moral guide for the nation.

goygoy · 18/07/2012 23:20

I'm going TheNightWatch Should have seen him last December, now re-scheduled for October. My friend is making the trip over from the USA for a second time (was too late to cancel her flights last year) so he'd better be worth it.... Grin

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:21

he sat behind me at a local horse show when I was 18, he was watching Pepsi or shirley jump their pony.
Beat that! Grin
aquavish! wham rap was pure genius! the kids know it word for word!

cocolepew · 18/07/2012 23:24

Really Lynette? Blimey, he seems like A Good Spud. Loving the Christmas lights story.

TheNightWatch · 18/07/2012 23:25

I wished he'd taken over his dads restaurant! It's gone downhill since. I once asked him to give me a lift back to Edgware but he said he was only going as far as Hampstead. I was young and drunk!

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 18/07/2012 23:26

Yanbu he is an arse and does not come across very well in interviews.

He is however a fantastic singer and song writer. I saw him at wembley stadium a few years back and all political stunts aside he was great.

goygoy · 18/07/2012 23:26

Arf at aquashiv I always fancied Andrew more than George.... he set my 14 year old heart a flutter Grin

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 23:27

hehe this is turning into the George appreciation page, sorry OP!

gatheringlilac · 18/07/2012 23:27

I think we should demand more links. I'd like to link to "Father figure", which Ive always sneakily liked but i'm not sure I can do the link, having started celebrating the start of the holidays with a little alcohol. (Oh, i shall regret that when everyone wakes at the usual time tomorrow ...)

TheUnsinkableTitanic · 18/07/2012 23:31

oohh gathering lilac

i am loving a GM tribute page

i wonder could MN towers get him on for a web chat - there could be frosted lipstick and big hair and fluorescent fingerless gloves and everything lol

cybbo · 18/07/2012 23:33
