Stupid British summers! Wish it would bleddy decide whether dry or rain today - 3 times I've had my washing hung out, 3 times frigging rain comes on! Can't get anything dry, DS fed up having to play inside, is it totally ridiculous to be thinking we might get some sunshine this July???

Things are looking better for next week so I believe.

It's absolutely hammering down and thundering here.

It's taunting me!!! Rain off, sun poking out through clouds! It wants me to put the washing out again just to turn wet as I clip the last peg on!!!

I will not succumb! Going to stick with the "Chinese laundry" look that has become the norm in my house. I will not hang it out again, at least, not in the next five minutes so take that Mr Sun!

Here the sun is shining but I am not tempted to hang the washing out. Having to swim across the garden to get to the washing line is not appealing to me.
I have reduced the washing pile by not insisting the DCs tidy their room.
