I think I might be being a tiny bit U here, but genuinely wondering what others would think.
My husband works for one of the sponsors of the olympic games. Earlier this year his employer ran a competition for sales teams to win tickets to an event of their choice. DH's team worked really hard and did win. However it's all feeling like a bit of a pain now.
Firstly they took two weeks after the day it was supposed to be annouced to name the winners. Then we waited several more weeks to hear from them, and instead of asking us what event we would like to go to, they told us that we would be going on a particular date and that events would be confirmed soon. Since then they've been drip feeding us tiny bits of info. We now know where and when we have to meet in central london and what time it finishes at Hyde Park (which I really couldn't care less about - sounds like corporate sponsor hell the hyde park bit). But nothing about the interesting bit in the middle. Am I being unreasonable to be annoyed about this? My husband says it adds to the excitement, but ot just pisses me off. We know we won't be seeing any athletics because there isn't any on that particular day, and it's a long journey for us to get there, and there's all the security issues which bothers me a bit with us leaving the kids at home, and I just feel like I can't really be bothered now. Also they asked us for our clothes and shoe size. Why would they do that? And why won't they just tell us what is going on???
AIBU????
