To want my new coffee machine to produce a cup of coffee?

Saved up for a while and ordered a new coffee machine on 16th June. Delivery to collect at local shop 2 to 4 days. Money debited from my account 18th June.
Got an e-mail earlier in the week to say machine could be collected (2 to 4 days???). Collected it yesterday. Read the instructions in several languages yesterday and this morning.
Started the first time use phase at 08:15 my time (Europe). Managed to get the steam nozzle to rinse (although the instructions did not tell you that you had to keep doing it until the machine told you it was finished, but managed to work that one out).
Got the coffee spout to rinse.
Got the green light that all was ready.
Filled with beans.
Refilled the water tank.
Pressed the button.
It is now after 10:00 and I still have no coffee. Just a lot of noise and a drippy steam spout Sad
What am I doing wrong?

What brand and make is it? Can't help without knowing at least that!

It is a Jura ENA3. I am just about to go to the website.
Luckily a colleague of mine is neighbours with the head of marketing for Jura in Switzerland...

Ooh, fancy! There's a couple of videos on YouTube that might help as well.

For the price of some coffee machines I would expect it to hand me the morning paper and do its own washing up tbf lol

I have read the instructions in 5 languages. Followed them to the letter and endured over 2 hours of "noise" without result. I believe it has ground some of the coffee.
This was a present to myself, for which I have saved a fair while.
I am very frustrated and extremely disappointed.

In that case, I think you got a bad machine. Take it back and tell them it doesn't work.

Possibly you have set the grind too fine. I can certainly do this with my manual setup and i results in noise but no coffee and some escaping steam, as the pressure is not high enough to force the water to coffee that is too finely ground. Have you tried adjusting this? If in doubt, ring the shop and ask for advice.
