I rely on a few nice weeks and some Vit D to keep me going during the summer. But this year there has been virtually none. This rainy cloudy weather is really getting me down. Can't afford a sunny holiday, so the is it until the next washout summer

You can get lightboxes that give U the same effect as sunlight, not sure how to get one though

My Dh survives on D3 in winter. I'm more cheerful in winter.
Maybe a lightbox would be the answer for you. We are miserable due to weather for the opposite reason here. Unbearable heat and getting hotter this week. It's like trying to breath in a furnace outside.
Theres info about SAD in the UK here. www.sad.org.uk/

I know,it's such a washout! As much as i'd like to say don't let it get you down, sometimes it does drag on.I'm desperate to get out into the garden but alas have to look out of the window and watch the slugs munching on the lettuces.I have no money either so kinda understand but I never have so don't really miss holidays abroad but having known the joy of sunshine and different culture of another country must be quite a pull. They say it'll be summer in september so that's something,if you believe what "they" say.
