On Sunday morning because my DSs had three friends sleep over and they started thumping and banging that early this morning?
They seem to think I'm BU because that's what a sleep over is about.
Well if it is, they ain't getting another one for a looooong time!

I'd say an early start goes with sleepovers.

Sorry, OP YABU.

Hang on, how old are they?

MammaTJ · 08/07/2012 21:39

Did you not expect that then? YABU!

"Sleepover." The biggest mis-nomer in history.

SecretPlace · 08/07/2012 21:42

YABU.

kinkyfuckery · 08/07/2012 21:43

YABU, what did you expect? Bedtime at 7pm then you being woken at 10.30am with breakfast in bed?

olimpia · 08/07/2012 21:44

Really?
DSs are 8 and 10. The guests (three girls!) aged 12, 9 and 8!
I suppose it doesn't help that I also have a 5 month old that feeds every 2 hours at night

I feel more sorry for your neighbours, if you have any.

Enfyshedd · 08/07/2012 21:49

I'm amazed that you allowed a sleepover with a 5 m/o in the house - I was grouchy as hell with DSS1 (13) over the Xmas hols whenever he had his mate sleep over (although that might have been more to do with being 4 mths pg and being woken up by them shrieking while playing on the xbox at 2am in the morning when I had to get up for work at 6am).

olimpia · 08/07/2012 21:58

They're the daughters of an ex colleague of mine and she had them at hers a month ago so I had to reciprocate. The thing is she has an au pair whereas I dont. I have a 5 month old baby and she doesn't.
