Not that I have evidence of anyone actually being this stupid, but given that some people really don't listen to the lyrics of songs and just go by the title, can you imagine going to a wedding and seeing the B&G get up to Would you not piss yourself?

Beautiful. Really lovely. No really, a classic choice. Whats your problem gold?

MrsHelsBels74 · 03/07/2012 20:36

I can't open the link...what is it?

Babylon1 · 03/07/2012 20:37

Can't open link Sad what is it?

SPsFanjoLovesRussellHoward · 03/07/2012 20:38

Better then "everyday I love you less and less"

Glaikit · 03/07/2012 20:39

What is it < frets it's her first dance song>

Psammead · 03/07/2012 20:40

Can't open it.

A dj I once knew always used to play Freda Payne's "Band of Gold" at weddings Hmm

madamehooch · 03/07/2012 20:46

At my DSIL's wedding, the song the DJ played after 'their song' was 'Please Release Me Let Me Go, For I Don't Love You Anymore!'

DJ had just suffered a 'Wedding Singer' type jilting methinks

GrimmaTheNome · 03/07/2012 20:47

That song has particularly clear lyrics too.

The classic wedding hymn is of course, Fight the Good Fight Grin

Pinner35 · 03/07/2012 20:47

My SiL went down the aisle to "A View to a Kill"

JADS · 03/07/2012 20:47

Heart - All I want to do is make love to you.

A song about a one night stand in order to get knocked up by someone who isn't your long term partner.

I would be pissing myself laughing!

Glaikit · 03/07/2012 20:48

I thi one of those threads where everyone pretends to know what it is?

EverybodysDoeEyed · 03/07/2012 20:49

late into the evening at a wedding the DJ refused my DH's request for 'You Give Love a Bad Name' as he said it wouldn't be appropriate!

aquashiv · 03/07/2012 20:51

I skipped through it but did I catch sight of Harry Potter. A bizarre choice but I have heard worse

lepetitchoufleur · 03/07/2012 20:51

ha ha yes that would be awful. I went to a wedding where the first dance was Spandau Ballet's "True". So dreary and depressing!
If any one can't think of it it's here:

Yogurtmonster · 03/07/2012 20:51

My OH told my dad I would be going down the aisle to 'bring your daughter to the slaughter'!

Spuddybean · 03/07/2012 20:55

a friend had band of gold as hers :)

exH and i also had it as one of the songs at ours (too bad a year later he went off with my bridesmaid!)

Someone on a thread once said they new a couple who had Africa by toto (just bizarre)

I know someone who had 3 lions (also bizarre)

GrimmaTheNome · 03/07/2012 20:55

No Glai, it seems that some of us can open the link no probs, others can't.

I suppose 10ccs classic disco slow dance 'I'm not in love' should be added to the playlist..

NoComet · 03/07/2012 20:56

DH suggested fight the good fight and through the night of doubt and sorrow as wedding hymns.

We didn't have an evening do ( if you've seen DH dance you'd know whyWink)

peanutbear · 03/07/2012 21:00

What about that madness song. Lyrics went something like, much to much, much to young married with a kid when you could be having fun

Think that was The Specials, not Madness, but good choice Grin

My friend had 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' by The Smiths.
