Please bear with me, we'd like maximum traffic so have posted in chat, the doghouse and AIBU.
My friend has lost his tiny MiniTure Dachshund. She is dark brown/black wire haired and weighs less than 5lb. Answers to Bridget, and is microchipped.
She was last seen in Billing Bear Lane, four days ago.
A reward is offered, she is much missed, and her owner is devastated. Anybody who might have some info, please PM me.

Have you posted this in MN Local for Bracknell also?

Lilicat1013 · 03/07/2012 19:06

I am not nearby unfortunately but I just wanted to wish your friend luck in finding her dog. Also it might be worth posting on Facebook in order to reach more people local to you. I have seen people I know locally posting about missing pets and even a child who hadn't returned home when they were supposed to. It got the word out and people looking for them.

pamplemousse · 03/07/2012 19:08

Also put on doglost.co.uk, loads of people in the area can help and poster the area> Hope she gets home safe x

MimsyBorogroves · 03/07/2012 19:08

Try posting on doglost website too. They will email out to local members of their site so that people will keep an eye out.

fuzzypicklehead · 03/07/2012 19:11

Bless, I'm in the same boat as your friend. It's devastating. Doglost is really helpful, as is Alfie's lost Dogs site. If your friend has a doglost page, link to it and I'll share & tweet it.

thebody · 03/07/2012 22:06

Just wishing all well.

I was just going to recommend dog lost. Ours was missing for ten days last winter and it was awful. Such a worrying time. Someone had him, they'd picked him up quite soon after he escaped and just kept him despite having a tag and being chipped. You need to raise the profile as high as possible to stop that happening, local papers etc.

Good luck.

50ShadesOfSaggy · 04/07/2012 08:27

I think that her dad is doing everything that has been suggested and more. I thought of lovely mumsnet when he told me. You never know who might have seen her.

pamplemousse · 05/07/2012 18:11

So glad she is found, its heart breaking having a pet missing x

ChippingInNeedsCoffee · 05/07/2012 18:21

Oh OK Pamplemousse - thank you :)

50ShadesOfSaggy · 05/07/2012 21:23

Bridget is a tiny dog, under 5lb, and very cute. It was terrible thinking she was out alone. I'm so pleased for her owners, they were really upset.
