Do you use '*'s gone' expression a lot? My husband says it habitally and it makes me irritated because someone who I hates(MIL) seems to say that too a lot.

I don't understand

What is the * word and in what context is it used?

ie *'s gone to the shops

*'s gone, we'll need to buy some more

*'s gone, best get me black suit out

Ah right. A couple of examples the way he says e.g. The scar has gone (The car has disappeared)
Also he says 'The wound has gone' But you can else say 'The wound has been cured'
He says 'I am back in the shop and the clothes I was looking has gone' But he could have said 'The clothes I was looking for is out of stock'
