Am I a bad mum for sending DD (10 months) to the childminders even in the school holidays?

Total drip feed. I'd still say you should go with your instincts. If you feel guilty, then it's the wrong choice, surely?
I'm a teacher too, and the idea of shunting my children off for the holidays makes me very sad. I am counting down the days until I can spend time with them.

I think the bipolar is important, you called yourself (jokingly) a 'lazy' teacher.
People responded accordingly.
Either way, as I said earlier, it's not lazy to need time to yourself.
You should do it but possibly not full time. Its a great opportunity to spend time with your DD.
Especially as you've been ill but you could break your day up so that you are with her some of the day and she is being looked after too.

You are not a bad Mum but I wouldn't send her everyday of the week, I think it's important that she spends some time with you.
