AIBU to put salt directly on my fanjo?

Ok. So, this morning I woke up with a slight pain down there, I am on so thought the towel had irratated me in the night. Have plodded on today thinking I might have thrush, but after a bonk sex with dh just, I realised the pain is coming from my left hand side clit flap (iykwim?) Sooo,my mum told me if I ever have problems with the under carrage I should have a salt bath, but I decided rather than beating round the bush ( bahahaha) I should just apply straight salt.

It stung like hell and dh demanded I wshed it off (i rinsed with a flannel)

So, is my fanny gonna fall off?

In all seriousness, a salt bath is with sea salt, not table salt, dissolved in the hot bath water, and works wonders on aches, pains, skin complaints, and cuts/grazes/chafing...

pouring fresh salt directly onto a wound is utter gormlessness... unless it is a mouth ulcer, in which case it sorts it out immediately..

Didn't they used to put butter on burns? Prehaps a candle related minge burn

I was once told by a gynae nurse that if you wanted to see if you had an STD you should apply lemon juice if it stings you're done for. I don't know if she was having me on though, I was a student at the time and I got the impression she was hoping I'd rush home and apply lemon juice to my bits.
