And I HATE advertising and adverts and everything associated with making us buy things we don't need... but... I have just shed a few tears watching the above ad. AIBU?

I agree, it's brilliant.

I have two sons and they always make friends with other boys whereever we go, so easy, so fun, just the way boys are built.

The simplicity of it, the view that Summer fun does not have to be expensive, especially in this age of over Disneyfication/plastic/expensive idea of a good time.

Tesco have a lot to learn. Their 'Every Little Helps' is bullshit, the stores don't give a crap, they are horrid souless places to shop, "offers" shoved down your throat at every turn like we are all thick. Rant over.

I adore this ad as well. The music always makes me look up and watch.
The other one they had out earlier in the year was good too - the dad and son on a day out, lovely and sweet.

Ah. Glad I popped back to see if I was not on my own. I love boys. I think I'd quite like to be a primary school aged boy in next life. I am menopausal, very lonely, single mother in this one.

I love it too and it's been making me wish our neighbours had a boy for DS to play with.

I love this too! It reminds me of my nephews :)
