In feeling that wellies may be a highly underrated form of pleasure in life?

Just put a pair of Peppa Pig wellies on DD, 14 mths, and she was in seventh heaven! Wish I could get so much joy from second hand foot wear that smells strongly of plastic!

What are your "wellies"?

I love putting a tiny piece of cheese in my mouth then taking a mouthful of wine. I also love any cake with buttercream.

I acutally really love paddling in the sea in wellies on a coldish day - we have sooo many photos of us in jumpers, waterproofs and wellies on Pembrokeshire beaches.... Mine are pink and flowery

DS2 (20 months) has wellies with cars on them he would wear them in bed he loves them so much.

I have a cup of tea with a kitkat after i've done the school run, before I start cleaning, I love it.

both my children love wellies more than any other shoe they have had. DS would also wear his to bed if he could, and they are just plain blue ones with red edging. It is an effort to get him in other shoes.

after a long muddy walk, when the dog is filthy, chucking a stick in the river, dog comes out spotless, cant beat it. also eating fresh poached eggs, we have had hens for 4 years and I have still not got over that pleasure.

My pink spotty Wellies have holes in them . I need to buy some new ones, I think I will have to go with boring green or black now as the 'fashion' ones don't last.

My simple pleasure is standing at my open kitchen window, when every one is still asleep, listening to the birds whilst having a cup of tea, gives me time to wake up and prepare myself for the madness.
