to be really sad the orangy bit in jaffa cakes has shrunk

Seriously I'm disappointed. The orangy bit used to nearly coat the top leaving only a small ridge to nibble around. The cake is now all nibble and no orange.

I know this is probably due to them having to reduce some fat or sugar or equally tasty bad for you item, however aibu to be feeling let down or atbu to have taken away some orangy goodness?

I feel the same about Feast ice cream bars. The chocolate middle used to be quite big and something to savour, now it barely covers the stick. It's hardly worth nibbling around it.

YABU the jaffa in a jaffa cake is beyond hideous and should be reduced to the size of a butterfly's bottom...quite agree about the feast though.

I hate that the Jaffa bit is so small on Jaffa cakes now too, however I have noticed that Ones from aldi and euroshopper ones actually have Jaffa all the way to the edges!

Agree with Mrsjay - Wagon wheels used to be huge!

I think a trip to aldi is in order in that case.

I always thought it wasn't so much that things were getting smaller it was I was getting bigger but the orangy bit have proven it's the products.
