Not being unreasonable at all. When I was a civil servant, Ministers met with individual constituents when their MP requested it. Not sure when this changed such that Ministers could just choose to ignore the plight of those they seek to represent.

He should have met to discuss this.

How is that any different to someone in any other job saying "I could really do with talking to someone more senior about X"?
