I say zero, and I spell words using the phonetic alphabet if I'm feeling really kinky

I mess with people and say zero one seven oh zero and so on.

Nor does anyone who has any remote connection to the forces Chaos. Imo anyone who uses oh is the nob, as it is, in fact, a letter. :)

I say zero, but only because I have an accent which is particularly apparent when saying "oh"

I always try and use 'zero'.

That is EXACTLY the kind of thing my dd would call me a nob for saying.

That and words like ghastly, pedantic and tiresome.

zero is number, oh is a letter.

Zero is the number, 'O' is a letter

Whilst I would always say zero if i was giving out something such as a credit card number I've realised that I'd always use 'O' for the start of a phone number, even if I'd use zero for subsequent zeros! So not pedantic, just perverse!

I always use zero except when the first number is a zero , then I say oh for some reason (no idea why)

I say zero because when I say 0 folk think I am saying 8, which I am not.
