Ok, I know the film has been on TV countless times and I have seen it at least once a year since its release but I found myself sobbing throughout tonight's showing... I first saw it in the cinema in 1987 and have seen it countless times since, but tonight I found myself in floods of tears watching it. Whether it's unfulfilled ambition (my daughter goes to dance college next year, and I was never good enough), or the love between Baby and Johnny (I got divorced), I don't know, but I sobbed throughout. DP said "Are you crying because he died?" I'm not sure, but please somebody tell me I'm not a total saddo!

Dirty Dancing is a terrible film but it's ok to cry if you felt like it. Grin

I'm crying through it now on +1, but then I cry at anything, especially at the moment.

Only just finished crying at One Born Every Minute when I switched over to Dirty Dancing

It would make me so sad to watch that now that Patrick Swayze is dead. He always seemed so nice and was devoted to his wife. RIP Patrick.
