I think I'd have "lost" the power lead by now. Ill means either in bed or on the sofa sleeping or reading. Laptop on lap for desultory surfing = reading. Sitting up concentrating on computer games = faking it Hmm

Would the dc be allowed to play if they were off school for the day?

I don't mind him playing on the computer, inc the fact that being ill becomes an excuse to do nothings else.

If you can concentrate on a computer, why can't you supervise the kids from the sofa so your OH can get on with things in peace?

Whinging all the time when ill is disrespectful. Whinging a bit is fine, but ffs try and maintain a sense of humour!

Oh, an "on the PC" to me means sitting in an office chair, at a desk, handling a mouse. Not propped up in bed with pillows perfectly feasible with wireless controller/tablet/smartphone Wink
