Just from a bog standard bakers in a small town.
Especially when I brought one the day before for 65p.
They do have a price list but you can't actually read it.

Ragwort · 15/06/2012 19:09

Sounds a lot but I bought a (frozen) cheese scone the other day from our local bakery/cafe - to take away - and it cost £3.50 !!! I was so shocked I just paid and left .......... it wasn't even that nice - more fool me Grin.

thenightsky · 15/06/2012 19:11

Shock at £3.50 for a cheese scone!!! I could bake a dozen for that I think.

ouryve · 15/06/2012 19:13

2 dozen cheese scones for £3.50. Organic. With unicorn's milk cheese.

out2lunch · 15/06/2012 19:14

bunnywhack · 15/06/2012 19:48

cheekybarsteward · 15/06/2012 19:52

Totally mis-understood a 'Vienesse finger' Blush

LynetteScavo · 15/06/2012 19:57

I think it depends on the quality of the chocolate, and the size of the finger.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/06/2012 20:01

And where the finger goes... lynette

mangomadness · 15/06/2012 20:03

It's 90p for a bun at the aptly nicknamed league of theives, I dislike monopolies especially when they ALWAYS shortchange you! I know profits go to charity but I'll gladly donate change, don't steal it!

kittyandthefontanelles · 15/06/2012 20:05

Depends what he looks like, this Viennese.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 15/06/2012 20:05

That sounds way cheap to me, things in Edinburgh must be ultra expensive

stressheaderic · 15/06/2012 20:06

I bought a packet of Viennese fingers in Aldi yest for 69p. Just as nice as the Foxes ones. Yummo.

manchester00 · 15/06/2012 20:08

Its the price discrepancy which annoyed me the most. Didn't want to push it though in case undercharged day before.

manchester00 · 15/06/2012 20:09

Its takeaway btw. Eat in bumps it up even more.

usualsuspect · 15/06/2012 20:12

I would pay that for a Vienesse finger tbh

SPsFanjoHarboursDeadCats · 15/06/2012 20:23

Freddos have gone up. Now that's unreasonable

bamboostalks · 15/06/2012 20:26

Is this the small biscuit with cream and jam inside?

Shutupanddrive · 15/06/2012 20:35

It doesn't seem that much tbh
cheekybarsteward love your NN Smile

TiggyD · 15/06/2012 21:25

I love that kind of finger. They just melt inside you.

tethersend · 15/06/2012 21:32

YANBU.

Unless you mean some sort of depraved sexual act, in which case YABU; that's a fucking bargain.

usualsuspect · 15/06/2012 21:33

Well I think its a bargain
