In context I just told him my car ran on empty today and I couldn't be arsed to stop with a toddler& a 2 week old in the back so came home on a wing and a prayer. DH has had to go abroad for work mum and dad are staying with me.
To which he stated "it's disgraceful, DH should have checked your car before leaving, none of my SIL's take care of their womenfolk properly"

The man has raised 4 girls, made us all work from being teens, made us fiercely independent, as soon as he said it I think he realised and has scarpered, what is his punishment MN jury?
