To tell DD's friend's mother that another girl is being a bully towards her DD?

DD is 7, one of teh girls in her class can be very unkind to the other children and DD has had a lot of problems with her in the past. This seems to have resolved itself between her and DD but lately the girl has turned her attention to another girl in the class.

I am friends with the other girls mother and she has told me of a few incidents, as has DD. DD came home from school today saying that the girl had been mean to the new victim again today, whispering about her and trying to leave her out of games.

Should I get involved and call the girls mother or should I just leave it?

Leave it, or you'll be in danger of becoming the gossipy playground mother. The children may begin to like the drama they can create, and start making mountains out of molehills, just for effect.

Concern yourself with your own children, and have a little faith in the relationship between the other mother and her own child.
