to think that you measure doors before ordering shed?

Husband decided we needed large new shed and as he had DIY skills of a gnat wanted shed building service.

So he proudly announces he has arranged it for when I will be at home for delivery. I read small print, clearly states fitters will not lift panels over garages etc - ask husband if it will fit through small interior door in garage - cue withering look that of course it will fit.

Fast forward to today - shed fitters arrive - take one look at door and agree with me that no way will it fit (as in good 6 " difference).

Luckily the shed fitters were running 2 hours late and after swift bollocking phone call to husband, he came home and along with 16 year old son was able to lift offending panels over the garage.

But AIBU to think the sensible thing was to have sussed this out before ordering - it was only luck that son was around
