To want to put a curse on the weather man

not the weather forcaster but on whoever it is that makes the weather :( We are supposed to be going on holiday in two weeks time, we have paid for this holiday with clubcard vouchers, it will be our first holiday in five years. So looking forward to it, our 6 yo sooo looking forward. Have scrimped the spending money away somehow.

But because of the fucking weather we probably wont be able to go

This is because DP has been rained off his job that was lined up, it will take two weeks to complete so no delays allowed. There is no way he can start the job as it would leave someones house open to the elements for a few days so too risky.

If this weather doesn't improve, well, NOW then i am going to have to start finding someone to "sell" the holiday to. :(

Yanbu. I get depressed in the winter due to lack of light. This summer is just complete shit. I Had my son in January and was couped up in the house - I thought summer would get me out and about again. Seems there's no chance of that happening.

I am now wondering if my prayers and curses were answered as the client HAS postponed the job and found DP some other work to do in the meantime - so im less stressed about the rain that i was because its gotten us more work

but COME on weather gods - give us a break, its half term ffs and my DD is BORED
