I saw somebody eat a Kit Kat...

...by unwrapping the foil and biting both sticks at once, not by sliding their finger down the Kit Kat Krevice and snapping their fingers apart to eat them separately.

Would I have been unreasonable to repeatedly punch then in the face while screaming "NO, NO, NO! THAT'S WRONG!!" until they lost conciousness?

where i used to work we discovered that frozen milky bars are just gorgeous

i was a bit spooked the other day when i gave my dog an ice cream cornet and he ate it like a person would Grin licked the ice cream and then crunched the cornet down

i expected he would just swallow the whole thing in one

stressheaderic · 07/06/2012 00:07

Just caught DP eating a packet of Hula Hoops and the packet was upside-down. Words failed me.

Sleepingonthebus · 07/06/2012 00:11

I have a 'Crunchie' routine. Done properly, a Crunchie can last for ages.

I lick the chocolate off about an inch, and then I suck and suck and suck. The middle disappears and that's when I bite off the sides. Then I start again with another inch.

I'm another crisp licker. I'd quite happily lick them and throw the bare, soggy crisps away but I don;t

Ew. Total weirdo. You should have reported them, OP. Is the equivalent of biting into an oreo cookie without twisting it appart to lick out the creme [sic] filling.

iceandsliceplease · 07/06/2012 00:36

oh fuck i really need a kitkat now.

And the correct etiquette is:unwrap the paper. Slice through the foil with your fingernail. Snap a single finger off. Nibble the gables. Nibble the long edges. Nibble the chocolate off the top and bottom. Hold the disintegrating stick betwixt thumb & forefinger. Delicately eat.

Repeat for one/three fingers.

Tesco used to sell Timtams - they were much like Clubs, but not.

GothAnneGeddes · 07/06/2012 00:48

Bella - I've promised myself next time I'm in an airport, I'll be getting one of those big bags of mini Dime bars so I can alternate picking the chocolate off and eating them in one go.

However Double Decker and Boosts are lovely.

CrispyCod · 07/06/2012 01:00

Creme Eggs.......bite off top, scoop out some of the fondant filling with tongue then eat the rest in one bite. Job done!

Anyone who argues with me or says Creme Eggs are disgusting will face a firing squad at dawn Grin

Mother2many · 07/06/2012 01:28

mmmm...I do that.... :P bite both ends, then pull apart! :)))) Grin

MardyBratannia · 07/06/2012 01:46

custard creams should have their corners bitten away, so that you are left with a mini diamond shaped custard cream at the end.

HTH

Empusa · 07/06/2012 01:55

stressheaderic Ah, but was he eating the hula hoops from off the ends of his fingers?

sashh · 07/06/2012 03:35

I do that - but then I also eat chocolate biscuits with the chocolate on the bottom.

Iteotwawki · 07/06/2012 06:02

Ooooooh. Now I have to try drinking tea through a TimTam. Luckily there are some at home (and if not I will send DH out to replace them).

YAonlyBU because I now need a kitkat too!
